In the WAG Inuit Art Centre, people will gather together to learn, share stories, celebrate art, and build bridges of understanding.
The Centre’s wide glass entrance will invite the community inside to engage with the art, exhibitions, and each other. The entire main level will be accessible with no admission fee, allowing everyone to discover and engage with art.
In addition to the WAG’s ongoing tours, programs and activities, there will be pop-up exhibitions, performances and talks filling the Centre with energy. Community members of all ages and backgrounds will be invited to join discussions, sit on councils and work with curators to plan exhibitions.
